Support to Judicial Reform 2016-2020

The “Support to Judicial Reform Project” (SJRP) aimed to advance democracy and the rule of law in Ukraine by supporting justice sector reform. Implemented by the National Judicial Institute and the Office of the Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs, the project focused on judicial independence, accountability, court administration, transparency, gender equality, and public confidence in the courts.

Judicial Education for Economic Growth (JEEG) - 2012-2017

The Judicial Education for Economic Growth (JEEG) project aimed to support economic growth in Ukraine by enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and fairness of the judiciary, particularly in the resolution of business and commercial disputes. The project modernized judicial education through practical, skills-based, and gender-responsive training and introduced Judge-Assisted Dispute Resolution (JADR). Initially piloted in Ukrainian courts, JADR was subsequently incorporated into Ukraine’s legal framework.
